Is watermelon a sugar cane? No, then obviously you can serve diabetic dogs with watermelon. Watermelon has low sugar content, and hence you need not worry about doggies blood sugar level. Melony products will never rise the dog’s blood sugar level to a greater extent. Dogs with diabetic, arthritic, pancreatic issues can intake watermelon, cantaloupe, green beans, cucumber, banana and much more veggies.

So yes, a bit of fresh watermelon (skip the rotten watermelon with mold, of course!) can be actually beneficial for you dog and is on the OK list along with several other fresh, whole fruits such as apples, bananas, some types of berries and cantaloupes. Most dogs LOVE watermelon, so we thought we would give this one a try! You can prepare this treat in about 15 minutes. The hardest part is waiting for them to freeze! I am using silicone ice cube trays for these treats!
All you need to do is follow these fun and easy steps to keep your pets safe from harm. Okay not really, but just wait... Ingredients: 1 watermelon, 1 orange, 1 spoon.
Carve these shapes.
Place watermelon helmet on dog.
Happy dog.
Place orange helmet on cat. Concerned cat.
