The Animals
They are the reason for the season. As avid animal lovers and young(er) adults, we pledge to aid in the fight to end animal cruelty, neglect and inhumane treatment. In addition, we will educate the younger generations on how to responsibly do the same.
Michigan Humane Society has been providing compassionate care for animals for over 130 years, which is why the Animal House Party aims to raise as much as we can for them.
The Party
On a nice summer evening in Detroit, please join us for complimentary delicious cocktails and delectable cuisine provided by the Whitney’s own Master Chefs.
A party ain’t a party without great music. That is why we have commissioned former WDET reporter and longtime record collector Kim Sorise and internationally-known DJ Graffiti (Ann Arbor, MI / Sky Children / A-Side Worldwide) to be our music selectors for the evening, which ensures our party will be jamming from beginning to end.

The House
The Whitney is as storied as Michigan Humane Society. Age may have something to do with it, but class will always be timeless. While Animal House Party-ers are a joyous bunch, The Whitney looks forward to opening their ballroom and patio for such a great occasion.
Only five minutes away from The Whitney is Michigan Humane Society’s Detroit Center for Animal Care. The close proximity will hopefully inspire AHP-ers to learn more about MHS and the important work that they do.
