Hello there!

Welcome to Animal House Party (AHP) – an interactive social good experience benefiting Michigan Humane Society (MHS). It is our mission to raise awareness and funds while having a little fun along the way building community.

Our approach is simple. By providing informative but engaging content and activities, we hope to connect with like-minded individuals. As our community grows, our ability to raise funds should be easier as well.

The actual party is going to be a celebration of our fundraising efforts. Our fundraising deadline is basically at 7:59pm on Saturday, August 6th. Therefore, the AHP team will be pounding the pavement to decimate the cost to have the event while getting young professionals of Metro Detroit excited to attend it.

You read that right – it costs money to have a party. There is no way to sugar-coat it. We are doing our best networking / begging / borrowing / (if need be) stealing to get the costs of having the event covered, so that we can get the entire cost of a ticket to go to Michigan Humane Society. If you or someone you know has any interest in sponsoring our event, be sure to contact us.

As this is our first campaign, we are looking to build upon a foundation of transparency. We are the new kids on the block and we want to earn your trust, so we can build our community at a sensible rate. As time is of the essence, we know no better way to do this than by making sure we are always honest and forthright. Whether we are talking about our budget with sponsor prospects or our relationships to the organizations we support, we do not plan to hide anything. We do not profess to have all the answers and we intend to always learn from our actions. It is our hope that the community we build will edify our purpose by adding to our interest to serve effectively.
