Q: How is Aggie Guide-Dogs and Service-Dogs different from Patriot Paws of Aggieland?

Ben is trying to train his dog Aggie, who just flunked out of obedience school. When he says sits, she runs; when he says run, she runs. Aggie doesn't want to sit or stay, and she is causing trouble everywhere she goes. Finally, Ben has had enough, Aggie is just not a good dog. He takes Aggie and his little red ball to the park only to learn that she has her own way of deciding when she wants to sit. This is a set of three short stories built into an easy reader chapter book.
Aggie's Pet Sitting Services is a pet sitter, dog walker, and pet taxi in Memphis, Tennessee.

Meet Aggie, available through . She’s a 3-4 year old, heartworm negative, chocolate girl ready for her new life! She is missing a foot, but that does not slow her down at all. There is still most of a leg there, so a prosthetic would be an easy fix. She’s not too fond of cats, but does great with another dog. Could Aggie be the girl for you? At the Aggieland Humane Society you can volunteer to walk and play with the dogs that need extra love. This furry friend rescue center features a friendlystaff and a hi-tech volunteer system that let’s you really get involved. You can attend a short orientation to become a volunteer and make a difference in the lives of dogs, cats, and other furry critters. Aggies are like dogs - always happy to see you. They say hi (whether it’s a lick on the face or not), and they love unconditionally. Just try walking your dog down the street on campus without getting stopped by someone who wants to pet your furry friend. Dogparks are as social for the humans as for the dogs here in Aggieland. No - this isn't a place to go eat hot dogs. WeinerFest is perhaps one of the most creative fundraising events I've ever seen. This event features wiener dog races, wannabe wiener races for the other breeds, food, and a5K that the humans can participate in too. The money raised benefits the Aggieland Humane Society and will help the homeless animals in our area. This year it’s October 4th, so go to and register you and your dog! Reveille is known as the First Lady of Aggieland and is Texas A&M’s official mascot. There are many stories as to how the first Reveille came to campus, but the most widely accepted tale has it that Reveille first made her appearance in January 1931. While on their way back to campus from nearby Navasota, a group of cadets hit a small black and white dog. They picked up the dog and brought her back to their dorm to care for her, but since pets weren’t allowed on campus, the dog was carefully hidden. But the injured pup quickly blew her cover: the next morning, when “Reveille” was blown by a bugler to wake the cadets, the dog went wild barking, earning the name we know her by today.Aggie Guide Dogs and Service Dogs, or AGS for short, is open to everyone in the Brazos Valley, though most of our members are current students. Our meetings are every other week on Wednesday and we have Campus Trainings the Monday of that same week. Aggie Guide-Dogs & Service-Dogs (AGS) is a student-run organization at Texas A&M University that began in 1997. Our purpose is to educate about, fundraise for, and promote the training and use of service dogs and to increase awareness about how these animals help the individuals with disabilities who use them.
